The handheld better showcased the experience lost in previous handhelds. Battery life was excellent, and it could actually fit in your pocket. The handheld made handheld gaming a good experience for the first time. It was usable and enjoyable. Still viewed as a viable platform today, for releasing simple low-budget games. The handheld was the perfect coming together of adequate technology with quality games.
