The lack of online support did not hinder this historic console. The games were more than good enough to satisfy anyone. This console pushed videogaming into mainstream acceptance. The console had everything one would want for 1 and 2 player local gaming. Although it had no online play, so you would hardly notice or care. it is a gem at what it does bring, which is tons of great games designed for a gameplay style without concern for the outside world. With a huge selection of great games, all with good enough graphics. Arriving at the end of the bygone era of peak videogame quality, this console is eternal. This is the console that made joysticks a permanent staple on all controllers moving forward.
