The console marked Sony’s return to power. Technological capabilities had finally outpaced needs, allowing for the adoption of the widespread x86 architecture, borrowed from the personal computer. The precision triggers utilized trigger position and button pressure, allowing for adaptive control. Game discs allowed for abundant storage, allowing for longer games. The controller still remained a painpoint, not as comfortable as the Xbox One, with the joysticks remaining in a poor position. The console had a large number of games made, and with high-quality graphics, it is a compelling option to PC gaming. For modern games, you can count that it was likely either released on PS4 or Personal Computer. So if the titles are well-suited to a controller, you should play them here.
