The Switch 2 took what was good about the original, and kept that. While still opening the door for new possibilities, all without handicapping the console by introducing play-style changes or radical controllers. Although less radical than maybe some fans were expecting, the console did open the door to what could be compared to laptop PC-gaming. The changes were ultimately what the general audience wanted and is an excellent vessel for game developers to deliver another giant library of bangers.
