The motion controls were radical in their day. In some games this could be considered early virtual reality, something not seen since the Nintendo Virtual Boy. Game movement on many games was interactive. Meaning, body movements were part of gameplay movements. Whereas, on most consoles, a game action is tied to a specific button-press. The system had a lot of good kids games. It is a well remembered and well liked console by groups that did not traditionally play videogames. Even some elderly joined in on this. The console is still one of the best for 4-player party games.
